Operations Associate
Good Vending Company is looking for the best and brightest to join our company as an Operations Associate.
The Operations Associate is the most important role at our company. They are the face of Good Vending, interacting with our clients inside their facilities. They make sure all of our machines are fully stocked and operational. They must think on their feet for quick problem solving. They are the eyes and ears of our organization. They are fast learners and can navigate some basic machinery. They excel while working alone and love autonomy. They hate sitting behind a desk all day and love working outside. They love being done with work when their work is done.
Expectations:
Be nice | The right candidate for this role must be friendly. You’re the type of person that holds the door for others and returns your cart at the grocery store.
Be honest | As the Operations Associate you’ll be collecting cash from our vending machines. You’ll have an accurate cash count every day without ever missing a penny.
Be detail oriented | Before leaving a machine, all of the product labels are facing forward and no coil is ever empty. The coin collectors are filled and the vending machine is fully operational.
Be presentable | Our team members dress nice, smell nice and smile. Our customers love having you in their building.
Be on time | Show up when you say you will and do what you said you would.
Be the best | “Just ok” is never good enough.
What you’ll do:
Use our inventory tracking app to pack product needed for each vending machine.
Drive the Good Vending van to and from our vending machines throughout the greater Columbus area.
Stock our vending machines effectively and efficiently.
Collect cash from our vending machines and keep it safe while working.
Fix minor issues that may disable a vending machine (jammed coin, stuck bag of chips, etc.)
Occasionally program electronic aspects of our vending machines
Requirements:
Must have a valid & clean drivers license
Must be able to get to and from our warehouse in East Columbus
Must provide three positive references from past employers
Must be able to lift heavy boxes
Must have a smart phone with an unlimited data plan

20 hours per week to start (likely Mon, Wed, Fri)
8am start time
Some weekends may be required during busier times
This is a contractor position
On-call service requests paid at 1.5x per hour
